While some Ottawans may be looking forward to the inevitable snow that is coming, some of us need a little persuasion to get into the spirit. For those people, and those who enjoy winter, here are some fantastic upcoming events and activities to do in our great city!
Nature Nocturne: One in a billion-Hosted at the Museum of Nature, their monthly parties are filled with wonder and is sure to be a great time! This month’s theme is one in a billion, so show off your uniqueness on November 28th. Tickets are 25 dollars and benefit the museums studies and upkeep.
Christmas Lights Across Canada-Starting in just a couple weeks from now, downtown Ottawa will resemble the North Pole with their Christmas light show. Parliament will light up every night, and provide a beautiful setting for your downtown Christmas shopping.
Barrhaven Craft Show-Tis’ the season for arts and crafts! On Saturday, November 15th, join the crafty people of Ottawa at the Barrhaven Sports Complex. Find that unique gift for that special someone, or gain some inspiration of your own. Admission is free from 10am- 4pm.
