Before you know it the crisp autumn weather is going to become snowy winter, so we should take advantage of the beautiful weather while we can! Make sure to check some of these off of your fall bucket list this weekend!
Saunders Farm: A classic Ottawa adventure, visit Saunders Farm for their day “Fall-tastic” events, or visit at night for their “Fright Fest” adventures. The nighttime haunted hay rides run until November 2nd. Keep in mind, they recommend “Fright Fest” adventures for those over the age of 12.
Ottawa Wine and Food Festival: From November 6-9, join hundreds at the 29th annual Ottawa Wine and Food Festival at the Convention Center.
Haunted Walks: Join Ottawa’s most popular walking tours for a ghostly adventure. Explore the city’s haunted past and listen to ghostly tales as you are guided through the quiet dark streets of Ottawa.
Champlain Lookout at Gatineau Park: Enjoy the most popular view in Gatineau Park, a bird’s-eye view over the Ottawa Valley and a 1.2-kilometre walking trail. All just 15 minutes from Parliament Hill. Also make sure to visit the Etienne Brule, Huron, and Pink Lake Lookouts. Pack a picnic and enjoy a romantic adventure this weekend!
